We develop mathematical foundations and computational methods for intelligent, and networked systems. Our work lies at the intersection of multi-agent systems, control theory, stochastic processes, formal methods, and risk-aware artificial intelligence.
We are interested in the mathematical principles that allow intelligent networked systems to reason, coordinate, decide, and act reliably in uncertain and networked environments. The lab brings together ideas from Control and dynamical systems, Artificial intelligence, Probability and stochastic systems, Optimization, Graph theory, and Formal methods to address open problems in research literature.
October 14, 2026: The MIND Lab website got launched.
July 27, 2026: A new elective course for the fall 2026 semester titled, AI3403: Multi-Agent Systems is being taught by Dr. Venkatraman Renganathan at IIT Hyderabad
July 02, 2026: The principal investigator of the MIND Lab, Dr. Venkatraman Renganathan joined the AI department of IIT Hyderabad as an assistant professor.
We welcome motivated undergraduate students, postgraduate students, PhD research scholars, postdoctoral fellows, and research collaborators interested in developing the mathematical foundations of intelligent networked systems.
